The study covers some morphological and syntactic catalanisms documented in 15th century texts written in varieties of Castilian from the Crown of Aragon. The analysis includes both free morphemes (articles, prepositions, conjunctions, numerals, etc.) and derivational morphemes (des- and es-), the subordinates introduced by the conjunctive locution ya sea (que) and the coordination of adverbs ending in -ment(e). The majority of catalanisms are found in legal and administrative texts, which reflect to a greater extent the orality of the time. While the contribution of translations to the transfer of Catalan structures is not significant, the figure of Enrique de Villena stands out, whose literary works and treatises, in contrast to contemporary works of the same textual typologies, contain a high number of catalanisms.
