Die literarische Avantgarde: Imitation und Originalität

Abstract

The article deals with the literary avant-garde in Catalonia around the decisive year 1924, differentiating them from both the avant-garde in France and Italy and from the avant-garde in the visual arts. Under the aspects “Evolution and rupture”, “Collaboration and subversion”, “Individual practice and group formation”, “Literature, tributary of the plastic arts” and “Imitation and originality”, the article analyzes the works and the activities of authors such as Gabriel Alomar, Rafael Nogueras Oller, Joan Pérez-Jorba, Josep M. de Sucre, Joan Salvat-Papasseit, Joaquim Folguera, Josep M. Junoy, J. V. Foix, Salvador Dalí and other figures related to the Catalan Avant-Gardes.
