Summary: Martí Domínguez i Barberà (Algemesí, 1908 – València, 1984) is one of the most outstanding figures of 20th century Valencian journalism. Though he is mainly known for his journalistic work, his discursive production also comprises other, more literary genres: poetry, narrative, theatre and essay writing. Journalism turned out to be an extraordinary training and promotional springboard for him, as it was where he found the stage from which he was able to fulfil his vocation for literature and the arts. One can detect his work from his diversity of expression, which webs a unique thread across various registers.
