Abstract

In 1987, the Majorcan writer Gabriel Janer Manila published his tenth novel, La Dama de les Boires, which, both in its structure and in its subject matter, is closely related to German culture. Some remarks are made on the complex chronology of the action, the iterative and retarding successive information technique, the role of the main characters, and the excellent psychagogy of the narrative that is analyzed with the example of the first chapter.
