Philosophy and the Mind Sciences has received a generous grant of over half a million Euros from the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft / DFG) to support and consolidate its diamond open access model.
Headed by Sascha Benjamin Fink (Magdeburg) and Wanja Wiese (Bochum), the grant will allow Philosophy and the Mind Sciences to hire two people for three years, to support the editorial staff and to organise workshops leading to special issues. The aim is to expand, streamline, and consolidate the journal and its editorial processes, but also to make its model for sustainable open access available to other journals and the public.
We are grateful for the support of the DFG and thank all researchers, authors, reviewers, advisors, and editors who have helped keep this journal running in the first three years of its life.
